hey everybody. just seeing who is from around this area. i have a 93 cobra and my buddy has a 92 lx 5.0.. we will be moving into inverness the last week of june.. hopefully when we get down there we can all meet up since we will not no neone.. thanx

hey, just checked out this regional side of stangnet fourms, and saw this. I work in inverness, live in hernando, about halfway to ocala.

cool. well have to meet up maybe when we move down there. we will finally be settled in prob the last week of june first couple days of july. i might end up working at the local ford dealer. nick nicholous ford.. talked to the boss and he said some good things. we'll have to wait and see..like i said befor i got a 93 cobra with the bear 5 lug swap and chrome mach 1 wheels. and a few other mods..are there and cruise nights around there or in the town??

there are a few shows in springhill, don't know abour inverness. thursday's at chic-fil-a and fridays at pit-boss on 19. a good mix of cars shows up

Ocala

I live in Ocala not far from where you will be. On Saturday nites a ton of cars meet at the taco Bell on 200. Quite a few mustangs, I have an 02 blue GT with chrome 03 cobra wheels Diablo,BBK intake, off road x-pipe, free flow Exhaust, giggle gas,etc. They also have test and tune nites at the gainsville strip.

Nick Nicholas, that's where i got my baby I'd say clearwater is about an 1hr 30min or so from inverness, ocala, about 45-50min.

hey ry, where on 200 is this taco bell, is it very far into ocala? ony about 20 min to outskirts of ocala, 30 for deep ocala itslef

ill be coming from north jersey. its going to be a haul but it should be for the best.. ill have to check some of these cruise night out when i get down there and settled in.. hope to see some nice cars.

Ocala

echo7, the Taco Bell is in the heart of Ocala. The main strip its near Best Buy and all the car lots. After they hang out I have heard they do street racing.

Where the hell is Inverness? I'm about 30 miles north of Jacksonville so you could stop in for a drink or something on your way

Jacksonville could be in the way for inverness, if you wanted it to be, lol Inverness is on the west coast, about 1-2hr drive north of tampa/clearwater/st pete

As for the Taco Bell, i'm not sure where its at, but i know where a best buy is, go there quite often. Is it down the road a little ways from the college (comming my way, north 200)?????

I fled Inverness during the Bush era in '92 and never went back. I hear it has changes very much. Back in 90-92 there was nothing to do but if you had a 5.0 you were admired.
