I've been wanting to get some 255-45-17 size tires for the front of the car and some 315-35-17 for the rear. I've wanted to get some Nitto NT 555R Drag Radial for the back but I was looking at some Falken GR Beta FK-451 for the front.

I was looking at the falkens over the nittos(front) cause the falkens seen to have a better wet traction and are cheaper.

I was wondering a few things:
1. Is it hillbillyish?
2. Will there be some wrong reading on the speedo?
3. Will it screw anything else up?

Thanks

Only possible issue I can see is the near 1/2 inch difference in overall height from front to back. The 255/45-17 being 26.035" overall and the rears being 25.68" overall. Probably wouldn't be noticable, but there may be a slight rearward rake.

no problems here, just don't do different tires on the same axle. EX. 1 BFG in back right, and 1 Nitto back left.
