Is THis A Good Carb?

im in need of a new carburator and i spoke with a guy at Lopers Performance in Phx, Az and he told me that for my setup (see signerature) that a Holley 650Double Pumper is perfect for my setup, but i thought i´d get another opinion before i choose, so what u think? is there a better one i should get?

A guy in my town has almost exact set up as you. he tried a demon 750 and it was 2 much carb. he now has a 650 demon and loves it.

I'm running a very similar build w/ 3.73 gears in my 85. I have a custom-jetted 650 Speed Demon with the 50cc secondary squirters. I ordered the "Crate Demon 650 for 5.0 Ford Crate Engines" and then had it modded (by Barry Grant for free) with 50cc squirters, delivered for $479.00. It is absolutely PERFECT for my setup. I thought the big squirters might bog it, but it has NO problem handling the fuel when opening the secondaries. It's interesting to note I'm pulling nearly 20 MPG - no complaints about that, either.
