Is this a good deal for Transmission?

I don't have any of the parts listed in the auto to 5 speed package. I need a bellhousing, flywheel, clutch parts, tranny, crossmember, etc. But does the following deal seem good or would I be better off buying pieces or finding a bellhousing on my own? Does anyone know about their reputation ?

RUN, RUN, AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM THAT!!!!!!!!! For $4400 you can piece together two of those kits, and start on a third if you buy the transmission elsewhere.

If you are frugal, you can put together all you need for ~800-1200 bux, if you can accept a (good) used transmission.

Considering I spent about 1/5th of what they are asking.... no, that is not a good deal if you shop around and piece things together

If you want a comprehensive kit THAT WILL WORK, contact Modern Driveline. They are reasonably priced and their customer support is second to none.

yeah id rather drop big coin at moder drive line since at least they aren't blatantly trying to rape you with a hot poker....just a regular room temperature poker....but at least you will get everything you need, and it will be all clean and new and not faulty crapola......

$2600.00 for me (1968) at modern driveline....still would need pedals and soemthing else i think but sitll comes out to be much less. Some of the stuff you could probably find at summit racing or ebay for less.
