stanparts has them for $150. whenever you can avoid buying parts from ford, they'll screw you hard. if you dont want a used one, try other auto parts stores, napa, autozone, ETC.
ford parts are expensive but good. i have had SO MANY problems with aftermarket parts that i use ford parts on all my personal jobs too.. iy the 690 installed is too much for you.. then look in junkyards for a used ford one.
the install probally cost you a bit. we get probally aobut 3-4 hours for that job 1.5 for diag 1.0 to recailm and refill and 1.0- 1.5 too install it.
so my dealer would have cost more.
and about getting ripped. most people in here don't understand the amount of cost there is too running a dealership. they want everything for cost and pay 5 bucks for install
