We're talking about your t70 mustang. Making vague references to "a guy" with a mustang doesn't change the fact that his Evo at 42 psi with a GT42R is making 700+ rwhp, and your car is not.
Anyone with a stock block doing the same is doing so well-beyond the known limits of the block. They're lucky it's held together. A T70 is at most capable of 700 rwhp. A GT42, on the other hand, is making at minimum efficiency around 700 rwhp.

People always complain, seeing what would happen from a roll is more interesting than what would happen from a stop sometimes as the dig racing can be more predictable depending on the cars that are racing. Hell, with some guys, why even run from a dig, compare track times and call it a night. Also captain drag racer, why dont you come find us a nice local spot for dig races for the faster cars that can be accessed whenever something random comes up?
Supras eh? I didnt see any 70, 80 or 90 rolls, just some friendly second gear hits from 40ish and Ill be damned if driver skill and knowing their car better didnt make a difference even from a roll.
you've gotta pay to play. if they shoved all of that money into the engine then they should have thought about supporting components. i love how people try to shove a buttload of HP through stock components and don't expect them to break on their first hard launch. with a high HP motor, breaking parts comes with the territory.
rolls belong in the bakery.

Cobra owner didnt expect the stock half shafts to break that easily considering there is a local that has is on stockers with a billion track passes from a Eaton and nitrous to KB 2.4 setup on slicks all the time.
Like I said, the world doesnt revolve around drag racing, thats not the only thing a fun STREET car is about.

he'll never earn the money back on that evo. i believe he still has a loan on it and dumped countless amounts of moneoy into it. he just wants the loan gone from what i hear...if it's the same evo im thinking of.
and my post about things breaking...he should buy a better halfshaft and go from a dig. roll races suck because some idiot either beeps the horn twice and takes off or the other car is ahead and takes off or something always happens. there's always an excuse for another car losing and there's always a chance of something breaking
