Since I had driven the Stang    The remaining mud in the drive way has dried up and it was just to nice today for the thought not to cross my mind. This has been one hell of a long hard and stormy winter. It was a very long 6 month wait. I think I'll try and get it into my friends shop next week to get the X pipe put on then after that (once I get everything shipped to me) I'll have the Trick Flow 351R intake and Ed Curtis cam installed. Also bought a 2 core aluminum radiator to help keep it cool this summer. Should be a lot of fun cant wait to get the ball rolling.

Funny you mention this..I "almost" started mine today. My driveway is a sloppy mess though..

What radiator you get?? I need to swap one in before I put it on the road..Been slow leaking since I owned it..

Hey Andy, I got one of the Mishimoto radiators, I heard a lot of good stuff about them so I figured I try it out. I need something that will cool it down quicker when I go to the track. I was thinking of taking it out tomorrow but I swapped out the battery today for a Optima yellow top and said ah screw it and started it up, after that I just had to drive it so I took it out for spin into town and threw in some fresh 93 octane, started to run much better after that. Hopefully you can get yours out soon to.

I been watching the classifieds over the Winter to scam one of those Mis one's..Seem like a nice unit for the money...

Mine won't be out for awhile...Need some serious rain to get the salt and chit gone before mine comes out...I'd freak if I seen salt on it...:jaw:

we have been getting a good amount of rain and the roads are pretty clear for the most part. Just still sandy in some areas but for the most part I think they are pretty much salt free

Weather is getting nicer for sure...been about that long for me as well. Sucks, doesnt it? Cold friggan winter and no heated garage leaves the mustang untouched for months. When I do start thrashing on it I stop to say "I'm sorry".

I installed my new lifters and got the valvetrain buttoned up today while it was in the 60's here. Even broke out the magna base and dial to make sure the valves were moving the correct amount for the cam specs/rocker combo.

Just need to get the 1250S gaskets and I am ready to roll out after a long winter slumber.

For some reason the bug has really bitten me to get off my duff. I really am looking forward to driving the snot out of the mustang this year...even thought about letting my DD sit in the garage until I can not bear the 100+ temps any longer.
