My car has really, really ****ing annoying marks on the hood. It looks like someone took an eraser and scrubbed the hood. It was raining when I bought the car so I couldn't see the spots, otherwise I absolutely would have asked the guy wth. I've only been able to wash the car and wax the hood once since I got it. Tomorrow is supposed to be 70 degrees though, so I'd like to try and get rid of the annoying marks. They're literally all over the hood, but no where else on the car. It's so very noticeable too.

You can see them in this picture, though they look like smudges. In real life they look white, or at least a different shade of orange.
I've never seen anything like it before and I'd just really love to know wth the guy did to it. Do yall have any suggestions for what I can do, aside from repainting the hood, to get rid of the marks? I've only waxed it once, but it literally made no difference whatsoever. It made the paint shiny, but the marks were still as noticeable as ever. If I wax it enough, will they eventually go away? Will claybar-ing it help? It's driving me crazy.

Really? Good god man your killing the finish on your car. Brushes are about the worst thing you can use on your car. Get a mircro fiber mit from the parts store at a minimum. I acutaly use this stuff and love it
