Since I visited the 5.0 forums.

I see ryan got a Cobra! nice. Well, as for me, I haven't had a Mustang in a while. Right now I have the '72 Super Bug, and the '96 ranger.

here are some pics of them. Even though Im sure there are gonna be some haters. but oh well. i love em.

The bug has the glasspack header with Jtubes, lowered, coilover rear, solid transaxle mount, 3/4" sway bar, all bushings are polyurethane including shifter coupling, electric fuel pump, bucket seats, lowered front bumper, shaved rear tail lights, no chrome, shaved side mirrors, Western Wheel, aftermarket steering wheel, custom dash, and thats all i can think of atm.

The Bug

The Ranger

stock when i bought it

With the new fenders

after the can paint and tires and rims

Too many jerks here in miami with foxes that give em a bad name. its a real shame.

I always thought bugs would be cool for a track car... not sure I could see me with one though.

Not into the Ranger though. But to each his own.

Welcome back.

here are a few vids for those non believers of the bugs.

YouTube - Red Baron 8 sec pass
YouTube - SUPER VW BUG/BEETLE!
YouTube - SCC SCANDINAVIAN CAL LOOK CLASSIC 2008 VW DRAG RACING

lol!
YouTube - Beetle vs. Ferrari

even on a circuit
YouTube - 2666cc type 4 VW beetle slalom racing

Sure it takes some serious work to get em that fast, but thats at half the price of any other car to go that fast. Imagine getting a car for about 2k dollars. Investing about 4-5 grand into the engine and about 500 on suspension addons and hitting 9-10 seconds in the 1/4 mile. impressive if i must say.

Im not trying to sell you guys on anything. Im just sharing some info. Cause im sick of people saying bugs aren't fast and never will be. I know its a Mustang Forum but eh just wanted to swing by and share. no reason for some of you to get all offended or something lol.

anddddd i know its not my big. i never said it was. Im just showing you the potential it has. lol. God, some of you have to open up and consider more than just V8's and blowers and ****. Im a fan of watercooled OHV engines, but wwhen you go into aircooled. its a completely different ball game. Its so different. But still, I personally like the difference and the variety, which is why im always open to learn about new ones.
