havent been on here in awhile figured i'd give some updates. my car is finally back to normal an has all the windows in. after 10 months of sitting i can drive it again an it is badass. the wierd thing is that the only thing i changed that would help performance was i went from a 160 degree thermostat to a 180. last year i ran a 14.0@98.3, i ran last wed an ran 13.9@99.25. then i noticed my back brakes were stickin pretty bad so i adjusted them an replaced a brake line. went back to the track on friday an trapped 101.13. while it was sitting i got my hands on some 245/50/16s nitto drag radials for $40 so i ran wed an frid with those but idk if im just not used to em or what but my 60fts are actually worse then they were with street tires. anyone have any tips for these tires?

There tuff to heat. I had 2 sets of them. What worked for me is heat them in 1st gear "just" till they start to smoke & stop. Then they should hook!

Cause thats pretty different

Anywho, yeah Will is right. They turn to greasy rubber if you heat em up too much. Also pressure is important on them. I ran 20 lbs but it was a heavy car with an IRS so you just gotta play with it till it hooks how you like.

BTW, our modess of destruction will be unpleased to see your Capri RS is gone.

it is pretty different. i drove to myrtle beach last year for mystang week, saw alot of nice lowered fox's but have yet to see one as low as mine. not tryin to brag it just is obvious that its lower then most other fox's thats all. especially around here theres not a car like mine. im tryin different things on the nitto's an hopefully can get some good launches soon. as for the capri, its not gone. its still in the fam an ill get it back someday lol
