Hi-jack of a Hi-jack of a Hi-jack of a Hi-Jack...

OT of an OT of an OT.....

This poor thread!!! (sob sob sob....) actually, it's been quite amazing where this thread has gone!!!

As for my car, alot has transpired! The car is back, a great job on the top! I pul;led out the interior, and still gathering a few parts, and plan to re-assemble it this weekend. The weather has been cold and snowing, and my one-car garage is cramped! So, It's hanging out, waiting for good weather to return.

My list of things already done:
1. Cleaned out trunk, power-washed, all mats cleaned, wax surfaces, some simple detailing, and put back in a quality order.
2. Replace throttle cable bracket with a proper one for a 4-BBL carb, so gas pedal is in the right position.
3. Add chassis grounding cable from battery to body.
4. Remove ENTIRE interior, including dash, radio, EVERYTHIG!!!

My list of things to do:
1. Install new rugs.
2. Install rear interior panels from WORTH (once I get them & clean them)
3. Re-face guages with gray decals. (for fun! removeable)
4. Remove fancy stereo, and replace with a simple system that can be sold with the car.
5. Install new dash pad.
6. Install new weatherstripping.
7. Align doors and windows.
8. Clean, re-finish, repair scratched interior panels.
9. Replace all missing screws
10. Anything else interior needs that is simple.
11. Color sand paint, then compund and polish to hopefully shiny lustre.
12. repair / replace hockey stick trim around top.
13. power wash and re-detail motor and engine compartment.
14. Clean everything else!

Then.......

Re-Install the FOR SALE sign, and drive it as much as possible!!

Just a small list!

Meanwhile, back in the gutter, we re-join our party of flounderers, conemplating the correct jelly beans....

(I apologize for this reality interruption....)

Dude in nine more years (when I turn 50 and Mrs. StangDreamin' turns 51), my two older kids will likely have vacated the place, and the son will be home only long enough to shower between chasing girls (the difference from his father is that the son will catch one more than twice per year) . It will have been 26 years since we had the house to ourselves - and if you think we're not gonna take advantage of the situation....

Ditto for the bunnie suit.... but that instant messenger image was KILLER! Calling it a "skin" was especially appropriate!

AHEM!!! I don't recall giving you permission to post that old picture of me.....much less calling me "your friend" peanut boy.....

However......I do agree with your suggestion on the jelly beans, and have order a truckload of gourmet-type sans licorice.......

Okay, you have my permission to add hot fudge. Just make sure it's not too hot or we're all gonna get burned.

And reguarding the full image of my avatar chick: I got the original picture from an online casino and I recently went back there to see what other pictures they had and found several others (and oddly enough they all had bunny ears - which I edited out):
