Just a Funny Little Rant about Some Dumb Kid

So to start off me and my friends are pretty much ford guys and 4 of us own mustangs. My two friends own 07 GTs one that has an intake and tune and axle back the other is stock waiting for his complete exhaust to come in. My other friend owns a 2003 GT but is to cheap and easily persuaded by the girlfriend not to mod it, which means he has no balls. Then I have my mustang and the rest of my friends are into cars too.

So we are at a party last night for memorial day and my friend's brother's friends go to the house too. One of these kids owns a mach 1 and claims ridiculous power because he has electric turbos not one but two that he could only use for 5 seconds and then has to let them cool down for 15 seconds. If he goes more than 5 seconds it would BLOW his motor. He also has a fake C02 Purge which he then decided to spray into his manifold too. Trust me its not nitrous or anything. So when me and my friends were screwing with him, catching him in stupid lies because he said he beat a GT500, he was boasting that his Electric turbos give him 2PSI and a **** load of horsepower.

Well since we were sick of his bull**** and I didnt have my car there since I am still fixing it, my friend in the 07 GT with the Intake and Tune (my car is very similar to his with my 100shot) called him out and lets just leave it at that you can figure out the rest on who won.

Afterwards the kid got pulled over on his way back home too, just felt like adding that in.

Oh yeah and also he said he was going put propane injection and also supercharge and twin turbo his car.

People are dumb...we convinced one kid that my buddies 4cyl ranger had a stock supercharger as we explained that his A/C unit was the charger...we told him the lines were fords "intercooler". The kid thought a CRX was the fastest thing on wheels and asked us why bother with v8 mustangs when a 4cyl honda has all it can offer

yeah i know some really dumb people too when it comes to cars.

kid bought a v6 stang, thought it was the hottest thing out there, even though there are 4 other ones that look better. and 3 gts at my school that are alot faster then his car.

he was like yeah i'm getting dual exhaust, its going to be the loudest i can get it to be with it still being street legal. after he gets it done, i see it, and it basically looks like they just put a chrome tip on the end and maybe welded in a new muffler, cause it was still single exit. i hadn't heard it started at this point, but im hoping its nothing like the diesel truck sound like i've heard with 2 v6s before.

i'm out at the bowling alley with my band and my friend zach, singer in my band and zach are really into cars like me, so we're hanging out in the parking lot. we hear something revving to the limiter that we thought was like a honda accord or a crx or something similar. the person pulls up past us, its that kid with the v6 stang. I kid you not this thing sounded like a 4 banger.

best part is, the kid paid i think around 15K for it, said he couldn't find a GT for that price.

now hes looking at getting an evo. i am almost positive this kid can't drive stick. so when he gets it i'm going to have to woop on him in my "slow gt". i know evos can do like 2 seconds faster then my car can, but this kid has never driven stick in his life.

gah what a dumb-A. Everyone knows that craftsman leaf blower turbos are better than those things. GAH.

my friend asked him that is all he had? and the Kid responded no, no you just got me. But the funny part I guess he just didnt get that my friend got him all 3 times. Next time I go to my friends house and this kid is there saying stupid **** again I think I might just have to set up a race against my brothers 450rwhp N/A 1999 Camaro Z28, just to completely shut him up. After the first time I went up to one of the kids friends and said I guess the electric turbos didnt kick in and he said that he probably didnt use them and I just started laughing

guy i used to work with has a 94 with an unpainted stalker kit on it. doesn't sound to bad, so i asked him what he had done to it. starts off with full exhuast, increased the timing, k&n filter, new cap, rotor, and wires. I tell him that i got a 94 as well and its stroked to a 331 and blown and has 450 to the wheels at the moment. He comes back all cocky with "thats cool, i had mine dyno'd last week and it put down 350 to the wheels." i just walked away at that point.

dont mean to hijack but what band are you in i know alot of local music. Im friends with ck5... i know john and scottie and all of them... scottie is now in a band with andy and a few other people from the checkers. I also know mac from break away/37 slurp. As well as nick reed and matt from robots and race cars/ willis/ spoons for adam.

i had something like this... it was a 88gt my friend owned. this was back when i had the probe and a 84 lx hatch. the hatch was a project and e always said his car was better and talked mad **** about my rusted ass hatch. so i told him id race him in the probe... seeing that his car was an auto basically stock besides exhaust/intake.... i pulled away from him hard..

i'm in a band called autumn again, we're a softer rock band, but we're playing more bluesy rock lately we've only been around for a little over a year now.

i love cryptkeeper, i haven't seen them in a while though. whats the band called with the guys from the checkers? i have probably heard them just probably didn't realize who it was. haha. my band played at the 449 room in trenton with robots and racecars, i think their bassist couldn't show so they ended up doing an acoustic set, which fit better with our music anyway. break away is awesome, its a shame they stopped playing together.

nice.
they are real good, i'd like to see them do a regular set, since when we played with them the drummer was singing and then the two guitarists were singing and playing acoustic.

we mainly play at places like hamilton lanes and finnigans, have played the stone pony a couple times, but we're really just getting started off. didn't have a bassist for about a year.

Then they can purcase our intercooler option, and the booster for that to keep the massive boost up to the intake tract

Did anyone click they link for the electric turbos? In the description of how a SC works, the impellers were going backwards to the airflow. It also said that the 1994 GT came with a 4.6l.

Dumb.
