The cost of the raw materials has skyrocketed in the last 8 years. That's a HUGE part of the price increases in exhaust. China's gigantic appetite for steel has driven the price out of sight. People are stealing steal, copper, brass, aluminum and pretty much anything made of metal because so much money can be had by recycling it.
