I bought a 1994 Convertible Mustang GT,

black on black on black leather seats etc.. , and about 140k highway miles on it.

The car is in mint condition as far as looks go, and run very nice.

here is a list of just about everything you would want to know about the car

Engine:

Cobra Upper Intake
Cobra Lower Intake
delbrock 65mm Throttle Body
EGR Spacer
Pro-M Bullet Mass Air
MAC Cold Air Intake (routed through fenderwall)
1.7 Ford Motorsport Roller Rocker Arms
K&N Air Filter
Accel Race Wires
Crane Cam
Fully Synthetic Oil Always Used

Exhaust:

Ford Motorsport Ceramic Coated Headers
2-Chambered Flowmaster 40 Series Mufflers
Bassani X-Pipe
3" Chrome exhaust tips

Transmission:

Automatic
B&M Shift Kit
Tranny was rebuilt last year
Always use synthetic transmission fluid since rebuild

Exterior:

Cervini's Y2K Cobra "R" Hood
Cervini's Y2K Cobra "R" Front Bumper (Urathane)
Cervini's Side Skirts
Keystone Headlamps
Keystone Clear Corners
Fog lamps purchased from Cervini's (exact match for bumper)

Wheels and Tires:

Real 17x9 Cobra "R" Wheels
BF Goodrich G-Force T/A KDWS's
285/45/17'S on rear -- 245/40/17'S on front

So this is my first Mustang and I am now looking into bumping up the speed on this car. Any suggestions on where to start? I was thinking of supercharger, but I am open for suggestions. I not too concerened with top end speed I'm looking to get off the line faster

Thanks

Tranny cooler and a 9.5" 2800-3000 Precision Industries or Edge converter. You will be having some fun, and your 60' should lower as well. I'm not saying this is cheap, as it is about $500-$800, but is well worth the cash.

Congrats on the purchase of the car... Any pics?

Get off the line quicker? First think you need to do is ditch the stock ring and pinion gear and upgrade to a 4.10 rear gear set. This will definately give you noticeable off the line gain.

you want a supercharger, and getting off the line faster, not too concerned witht the top end, sounds like a Kenne Bell candidate to me, I love mine. Gears are a lot cheaper, they'll get you a fix too. Good Luck
And welcome aboard, lot of good info here, smart people

Zero, the bodykit (hood included) was a new addition from about a year ago, the previous owner put all that stuff on.

I like the hood, dont like the front bumper much, it makes the car pretty hard to park without hitting that front scoop, and as far as I can tell its only good for catching rocks anyway. I would like to swap it out with a stock cobra bumper and keep the hood.

I would also like to delete all the badges except for the front pony. I feel kinda silly riding around with cobras hangin on the sides of the car and GT written across the back bumper. Besides I like that clean look. Im just worried about leaving holes where the badges were.

So it looks like Im gonna take the suggesstions and go for new gears first..

Thanks for the comments

you said those are real Cobra R's but imwilling to bet they are not, real ones are expensive, and most likely would have came with the real center caps, those center caps are the ones that come on the replica wheels which u can see here http://www.rsportscars.com/foto/08/mustang_cobrar_fdetail800.jpg
And i dooubt he had the real ones chromed, car looks good tho i like those hoods on our cars, How much did ya Spend?

(If its not Black Itz Wack)

Good catch Igot, never really questioned the wheels. But i dont doubt they are replica's. I copied over the previous owners "list of stuff" from a web posting.
