heh im not tryna flame, just stateing what i think from my knowledge, infact i just looked it up and they do come in chrome so i was wrong about that, http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=32 just they have the wrong center caps unless he bought them that way or without them

i disagree, i think that hood is better on our cars, and the front bumper is better left on the 99 and up stangs,heh

yeah those are replica wheels,cobra r's have the red r on the center caps.the replica center caps will not fit the ford racing rims.ford did this so we could not buy the rep rims and put the real center cap in them.but anyways that is a very nice car,i also have a black 98 gt,have fun keeping it clean.i hate black,i wish i wouldnt have bought that car just because of the color.

The real cobra R's also have a imprint on the outside lip, I cant remember the symbol right now. I just sold a pair I got off of a cobra R in san jose.

From what I have read that back 5.0 badge should just be held on by a tape. I may pull it off this weekend. I don't like it much myself either.

Remove the snakes on the side fenders (not a cobra...) and the 5.0 crest behind and she would be perfect. Nice car anyway

Ford made two different Cobra R's. The originals (M1007R58)have numbers cast into the face of the rim. The second version (M1007R50C) don't but the cast is different (the hub is larger). The rims on the car in the pics are replicas if they don't have numbers cast into the face because they are from the original casting. At this point who cares if they are replicas or not. Nice car!! Get 4.10 gears

never seen a real ford racing cobra r without the the cast numbers on the outside edge.then again most people get the rep rims.i was the dumba$$ that had to have the red r's on the center cap.i wish i would have known about mustangtuning.com before i bought my r's,i probably would have the chrome fr500 rims instead,the center caps they use are nice.and i agree with everyone else that says you need to lower this car

Do you have the Mustang tuning Cobra R's??? If so, please post pics, I'm really interested in those and wanna see how they look on the car compared to other replica wheels.
