i have a question i just bought a tremec tko 500 and i was going to get the tremec bellhousing but i bought a mcleod bell housing instead. was this a good thing to do or not? they said it is made of steel instead of alluminum and is a better bellhousing
Yup, I have the McLeod and a TKO. It works great and fits relatively easy (unless you have certain long tube headers) but it is really a "safety" steel bell rather than the TKO aluminum bell. I looked at it as good insurance if I ever decide to put some serious HP to the ground. I think you made a good choice
