Just drove 1282 miles in 19 hours 33 minutes

for a set of 03/04 Cobra Seats for my 2002 Mustang GT!!!!

I left Nashville yesterday to drive to Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania to buy a pair of 03/04 Cobra seats, black with dark grey inserts.

Went through Louisville, Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, and through West Virginia, into Pennsylvania...what a trip too!

Only thing I stopped for was fuel, food, and the seats. Did the complete round trip in 19 hours 33 minutes, and I didn't stop for sleep.

That's the longest and farthest I've driven in a 24 hour period.

i got back home this morning at 4:44 am, i hit the pillow and I was gone, but had to take the rental truck back to Enterprise by 9 so I only got about 3 1/2 hours sleep when I got home, now I can't get back to sleep, so figured I might as well post it up.

I got on the road at 9:11 am yesterday morning (all times central time).

Sweet! Sounds like a fun trip! Were you alone or did you have a friend with you? I hate driving that far alone it gets so boring haha.

thats what satellite radio is for!! i dont mind long trips as long as i can listen to Sirius!

What did it cost you to pick them up vs what it would have cost you to have them shipped?

Long trips = Howard Stern and Maxim Radio with some Sirius Hits 1 and Hair Nation in the mix for good measure.

Dedication is right.... at 12 MPG is close to $500. of gas.

drove up there by myself. couldn't find anyone to go with me. but I got to see a bad ass lightning show coming through Cincinatti...that lightning was wicked!

Dodge Dakota quad cab V-6 rental, plus $240 in fuel. didn't get a shipping quote, so I don't know. I just went.

Good buy,although I wouldnt have drove to get them,I try to be lazy now days,.

As for those lighting storms in Ohio,they do get wicked.

Ouch! I'm sorry you had to drive through that. I luckily got home from work a couple of hours before it hit, it was quite a light show last night.

So how did it work with you? You bought the seats for $25,000 and out of the kindness of their heart they threw the rest of the car in with it?

it's a little problem I have, it's called instant gratification.

i wanted it now, not tomorrow, or 3 days later, and with damages because UPS would have been careless and torn crap up.

I'm a "if you want it done right, you do it yourself" kind of guy, unless of course it's something that's out of my league or beyond my experience or knowledge.
