I just got done letting the car down off the ramps and then I pulled the car into my driveway, thats when a scraping noise started,it seemed to be coming from the bell housing. At first I would only hear it when I applied light pressure on the clutch pedal or held the clutch in,then after about 5 minutes of that, the sound was all the time and was getting louder in intensity so I decided to back the car into the garage and pull the rear wheels up onto a set of ramps in preparation to investigate but once I got it onto the ramps the scraping sound stopped.

It seems like it has something to do with the release bearing but everything is new so im not sure, plus in my experience T/O bearings usually chirp when they are bad. This is a scraping but it does seem that as soon as the bearing contacted the fingers of the P-plate the scraping started.Could it be that the T/O bearing is incorrectly situated in the shifter fork ?

Any and all opinions greatly appreciated.
