Cam question

You mentioned having 92 heads and a Comp 31-432-8 cam. According to Comp, that is a not a valid combo.
The 31-432-8 cam if for older blocks that didn't come with a roller cam from the factory. The 92 block DID have a roller from the factory.
The 31-432-8 cam is a reduced base circle cam. A roller block like yours uses a regular base circle cam.

Are you sure on your Comp cam part number? Please check the actual part number you bought and list it here.

I have an old 1971 302 block that I want to use a roller cam in. According to Comp. I need the 31-432-8 cam.

Thanks.

I could be wrong but it looks like he said he had 84 heads

Never seen the headlights either. I assume they are covers? Looks good though, always have liked a tough sounding 4-eyes
