well its not because the meter is from a foxbody...plenty of guys run fox body meters on our cars...the fact that its a 75mm may not be helping as they are hit or miss...some work on our cars, some dont...the plugs may be a little too cold as well...

Our timing/fuel tables are the same as foxes? I thought they were different. If they are the same, then why arent the MAF's sold as 87-95? What ever small difference they have must be able to affect the performance, otherwise they wouldnlt be in seperate categories.

I know a guy with a 95 cobra who put a A9L computer in it with a 351 and ran 94-95 mafs/ electronics and the timing was TERRIBLY messed up.

Im no pro, but get the tweecer man. Tune it for a 94-95 and you should be set to go. :spot:

i think the meters are just built different...i think its the way it attaches (flages or something) i know for a fact Joe(Vib) ran a Fox meter on his car....i believe the electronics are the same for the fox cars and ours...the eec takes care of the rest...

i cant remember what exactly is different about the 2...but i know we can use theirs...the MAF really only reads how fast the incoming air cools the little sensor things and relays that to the EEC...not much more...

and i agree he needs a tune...either a tweecer or get a full on dyno tune with a custom chip...

I have 3923's in mine all the time. I use this cold of a plug for Nitrous. I always run these plugs NA as well. I have never had pinging issues. SO I dont think its the plug. But I dont recommend the 3923 for you with no power adder. I would get 3924's.

Fuel couse pinging, last night I pump with new 93 octane and now ping just in 5th gear, I still have timing on 10*, meybe I should bump to 14* again ?????
Whats is the best timing with aftermarket heads and cam
