Well i see i made alot of people mad and i was really jokin.my cousin drag races all the time and he said if your running a stock bottom end and a high volume oil pump not use anything over 30wt cause it can snap the shaft from oil pump to the distrubitor. Truelly i was joking but if yall dont accept my apologey i guess i`ll be the one sucking it up in the future.

never heard of that happening....but you might as well change the pump shaft while your in there anyways

i guess it put to much pressure on it hopefully thats all i have to do mine cause i learned the hardway running valvoline vr50 racing oil

i know man sorry bout that tell the rest not to ignore me i`ve been working on cars for the better part off 13 years and know a little just got in the stang thang recently so hopefully i can help where possible and if i have a ? everybody wont ignore me.

you can get a arp dist shaft for around 15 bucks and not worry about it. //running both with 20w50 oil.

cool thanks went bought a shaft and regular pump from advance hopefully will be fine until later thinking about going to a carb and stoking it a lil anyways
