Just Ordered my Mustang GT on X-Plan Yea baby

Nope. The dealer is alloted so many cars based on several factors. An X-Plan car takes up a slot in that allotment the same as any order. The only difference is X-Plan car is sold to you at a discounted rate and the dealer gets a special commission.

I remember seeing this before, but couldn't find on the search...I ordered a 2006 GT on June 1, got my VOC the same day, but haven't received my DORA yet. When I call the robot lady, i get Clean and Unscheduled. Do I even need to worry about getting a DORA? Or has my order already been entered into the system?

ok guys i got to know, how the hell did you all get such low priority numbers... i ordered my 05 back on april 5th and they transfered me over to an 06' which i am happy aobut.. i ordered mine on the z plan, which is like the same as the x plan and im looking at my dora and im a priority 34, and i know im not going to catch a glimpse of my stang untill october or november. So to everyone who expects to see their stangs in the next few weeks, all i have to ask is what the hell.lol im getting impatient!

Every dealer is different; every order has another story--both good & bad.

I ordered an 05 gt vert on March 3 on x-plan--picked it up June 9. 3 months isn't too bad considering thet my Dora had a 40 priority. I believe the order was re-entered at some point because they needed an easy sale. Who knows?

Just stay on top of it and make sure they add nothing to the car after it arrives, especially stickers and dealer ad plates. Good luck.
