I just bought the MGW Shifter

Then after all said and done the lady said it was going to be TWO WEEKS before it ships due to back orders!! SONOFAH....

...I had the Tri-ax in add to cart on another website, then started reading the forums and thought...if folks are trading in their Pro 5.0's for an MGW then I should pick one up too.

I love the internet.

Let us know how you like it when it does finally ship. I really like the idea of being to adjust the position of the knob.

Sweet compared to...?? Stock? Another aftermarket shifter? I really want someone who swapped from a Pro 5.0 to the MGW to tell me if they think its worth the expense.

Maryland Gun Works.

George makes awesome stuff. I have had my shifter in for a couple of weeks now, and I love it more and more each day I drive it. I had stock, then a Pro 5.0 and neither compares.

It sounds like a great shifter! I still love my Steeda Tri Ax though.

They ARE in Georgia. Were they originally in Maryland? I don't know. You'll have to ask them.

Is the MGW spring loaded to go into 3rd? How is it for downshifting into 2nd?

Not only is it spring loaded, he uses tempered progressive springs and so it's a tight pull.

Been waithing for some feedback. It'll be my next buy. Had a Steeda Tri ax in my '01 but lost it in the trade. couldn't imagine someone building anything better. Guess MGW knew our hearts.

Whenever I click on the link to take a look at the shifter, the picture on it is really small and unreadable. Does anyone else have that problem? How do I fix it?

...or close all but one browser window then click Tools>Internet Options>Advanced and about half way down this list under the sub topic Multimedia uncheck the box next to Enable Automatic Image Resizing. Click Apply and you may have to close and reopen your browser.
