Thanks to the fine folks at E-loan.com, I am empowered with the means to buy a mustang, without blowing any available cash. I have found a 1990 5.0 mustang. The other cars I posted on here I decided not to pursue. I did a lot of searching and found one for sale. It is 5 grand. It's been garaged for 6 years, has a rebuilt 302 with less than 10,000 miles. The motor is bored .40 over. The t-5 tranny is new, with less than 1K miles. The clutch, flywheel, plates are all new. It has a slightly larger cam, and 3:55 gears. MSD ignition, shorty headers, dual chamber flowmasters, MAF meter with a 65mm throttle body, cold air induction, and the paint looks like new (no dents or scratches visible). It is very clean. It has been a 1 owner vehicle since 1992.
The owner is 40 years old, has never ragged on it, and religiously wax and polished it. It is certainly a cherry, worth almost 10K.
On Monday or Tuesday, I plan on sealing the deal. So I can officially say I'll be part of an elite group!
