Just thought i would comment, tirerack has the KDWS 255/45/17s on clearance so i picked some up for 78 bucks a tire ! !

This is the only size on clearance, lucky for us mustang owners.

The stock size is 245 but looking at the specs it says its safe to put the 255s on our rim.

I was going to shop around for differnet tires/ brands but for that price i bought them before they ran out.

Anyone have experience with these tires? i currently have the Kumo all seasons and I am pretty happy with the treadwear, the traction is just ok, but i dont race around anyway anymore. My stang has 118K miles, and i got in an accident fooling around, so i am cautious now.

Someone in another thread was talking about tire places that sell performance tires for dirt cheap for a reason. The manufacturing date on them is 4 or 5 years old.

KDW's aren't even a 5 year old design i don't think. And tirerack does go through them pretty often, their pretty popular. But yeah, i've heard the same sort of things.

I used to have 275's on my car. They were the best tire for the money when I bought them They gripped super well, and I wish I could have gotten another pair ( I paid 40.00 each and that included mounting and balancing.) They were "used" off another mustang that had been in an accident.

I used a set of those when I lived in Utah. I ran them a winter they held the road great and was a very decent tire in the snow I got 30k out of those tires and I was not to nice to them.

P.S. the KDWS where O.E. on the GTO.
