I have BBK full length headers on my 83 GT and keep getting exhaust leaks. Is there a gasket that will last longer than a month or two.

FELPRO. Get the ones that are metal on one side. Mine have lasted 5 months already.

Anytime that I have had issues with burning through header gaskets it has always been a symptom of the header bolts loosening up. I put a set of locking header bolts on and have never had a problem after that.

Just make sure you bolts never loosen up and you shouldn't have any problems. I have felpros and have never had a problem. Over a year and still going

I use Percy's carbon X gaskets with stage 8 locking bolts on my mac long tubes and that works great. No trouble and it has been a few years.

felpro 1415's. they actually stick to the headers when they get heated up, kinda like they burn onto them, they always come off in one piece too.

I always run this gasket. even have a header bolt missing on one side and still no leaks. and my headers have individual tubes. The only time i had a leak was when the front drivers primary loosened up enough to where both of the bolts were halfway out, and it blew a tiny part of the gasket out.

iv had real good luck with those layered gaskets, i think its somethin like seal for sures. like 5 layers of metal, crush fit and re-useable, i used to burn thru felpros like crazy, but these have never leaked.. little spendy tho.

Might also try some of this, especially if you've got a mating surface that isn't true.
