When I bought the heads for my car, the guy was also selling the cam for cheap so I went ahead and bought it (cant be worse than stock right?). After I get the turbos on my car I was thinking about giving Edd a call and having him make a cam for my car. Would this be a good idea? Can he make cams that perform well with a turbo? Or for the hastle and price of a new cam should I just leave my Stage 1 in there for now? Edd seems to know his stuff from what I've read from all of you, so I figure I could probably pick up some nice power switching over to an FTI cam. What are your thoughts?

i talked to Ed awhile back about a H/C/I turbo setup on my car...he said he could "turbo prep" the heads and most certainly make a cam designed for the boost of a turbo....id give him an email or a call...im sure he would do it...also it seems to me that Ed's cams dont always make the most PEAK power(for example Paul) but they make the most USABLE power (or power under the curve)

Ditch the TFS, and put the stocker or an FTI grind back in.

If your willing to, then throw the stocker back in, untill its time to rebuild the motor. the stock cam retarded 4* should do you good, for your power goals.
Turbos motors arent usually reved too high, so theres not much of a need for a
2500-6k rpm cam.

from what i've heard stock cams can be very effective in turbo motors, if you have the time/money to go for a custom cam then God bless, but im not sure if it's absolutely necessary.

The TFS cam I have is only good up to 5500rpm I'll see how it does at first, if I dont like it i'll save up and deffently give Edd a call! I dont want to stick the stocker back in, then change it again.

Will do... I'm defently going to go with an FTI cam, but not sure how long until I get it... I need to get a tweecer, injectors, maf still for the expencive stuff, and my turbo pipes arent going to be that cheap either.
