Ok i ordered my mustang back in what was it april and it was changed over to an 06 which im fine with.. but when i call the ford lady (aka the devil) has still not given me the build date... all i want to know is when in aug. (god willing) the stang will be built... anyone know why other people are getting build dates and here i am sitting back calling the hotline every thursday... yea i know its pathetic but its what keeps me saine... should i go back to the dealer for my seemingly weekly vistit to make sure they are dotting their i's and crossing their t's or should i just wait becuase its still registared under ford as clean and unscheduled.. anyone work at ford and have some advice?

Do you have your DORA? if so, what is your priority #? Along with that your DORA should state when the order was recieved by ford. And where are you on the list from your dealer. If you are 1st in line you should be one of the first for allocation. If not it may be a while, or you could call tommorow, and it's scheduled. I do not work for ford, but have a family member that does, and when I told them the dealer said late Sept for my 06, I was told good luck. Since I got A plan I can wait. It gives me more time to save up.

It also depends on how often your dealer gets them and how many they get. Your priority number will give a good indication, the lower the better with 10 being the best a dealer can give.

I have my Vehicle Order Confirmation, with order number and priority code (11), but the part for DORA is blank. How and when do I get a DORA, and will it have the build date on it?

yea i have my dora and im priority 34 and it was recieved on the 6/29/05. think i should get a build date sometime in the near future?

You need to talk to your dealer and find out how many they sold last year and how many are ahead of you. You could have 24 people ahead of you at a dealer that only gets 3. If you waited that long last year and still did not get one, something is wrong. I ordered mine mid June and it just got built and is on its way.
