An update on my progress. Had to stop working on my T Top for a while. Seems the engine on my wife's 2002 Thunderbird went bad....Only had a bit over 150,000. After doing some research, found out this is why they are not a very desirable car. Ford dealer who worked on car could not find an engine. Yes, the engine is a Jaguar engine not a Ford. Found a complete car that had a low mileage engine but was an insurance write off. Bought it for the engine.............Did most of the work getting the engine out but had to have someone pull the engine as it comes out from the bottom............Her Thunderbird is running now..............Oh yea, here 2024 yellow Mustang GT arrive. Nice!!!!!
So found someone to replace the front core support on my T Top. $3,000 in labor............ouch. Found another T Top in good shape needing lots of work for a lot less. Bought it. Pick it up in two weeks. Need to drive and pick it up. Complete car. Just been sitting in a shop for a long time.
