will a 96 and up factory 4.6 kmember bolt into a 93 fox?

i'm being told that if i use an aftermarket k member along with my stock control arms, it will move my wheel position forward. is this true with all kmembers.

The 96+ K-members were designed for the 4.6L so the motor mounts won't work. Some K-members move the positions of the wheels and motor mounts, some do not. I have a GMS K-member, it moves the wheels forward about an inch, and has two slots for the motor, one in stock position, one an inch back.

i'm not worried about the motor mounts, i just want to know if they bolt up. to the car. or are the dimension/mounting locations different.

Just get a stock K-member from a 5.0 Vehicle. You can have mine, but it's a drive to get it. Someone in PA should have one.

i need one for a 4.6 not 5.0 they don't mount the same
