It's not as bad as when mine failed, but I wouldn't trust it at all, especially if there's already a vibration. As for the vibration at 1500, do you feel it in neutral or only when driving? Or did you never feel it and it was just the shop?
I never felt it, just the shop. But I also am driving around (rarely) on a flat spotted tire so everything feels like it’s vibrating. I’ve driven probably less than 20 miles since i made the hour and a half drive getting her home.
Got the balancer from Summit yesterday. Do i really need to drain and remove the radiator to do this?

You might be able to do it without, but honestly it's not that hard and I'd just do it to not only make sure you don't damage the radiator/fan, but also it's a coolant flush which is not a bad thing.
Just drain it into a couple of clean container and put it right back in. I think I used a cooler last time. lol
I’ll try with just removing the fan and fan shroud and overflow tank. I’m not sure but if removing the overflow tank requires draining the radiator then so be it. Like mentioned a coolant flush could be a good idea anyways.
On a GREAT note, I was finally able to transfer title lol Got that taken care of after work yesterday.
One bummer thing I noticed, and I mentioned it previously, was I thought there was like a smudge or something on the instrument cluster face, upon closer inspection the black face by the temp gauge had peeled off or something in a spot. So I’ll have to replace the face of the gauge cluster now.

If it appears that it might be leaking then yes, if there's no signs of leakage I'd leave it alone. Hard to tell since the pics show a cleaned up oil pan.
The oil pan was disgusting. I just spent some time last week cleaning the whole underbelly of the engine and transmission. That's why it looks so clean.
Do you really need a ‘install tool’ or can you just use the bolt to push the balancer on? I’ve seen both in YouTube videos. Is the bolt reusable or should I get a new ARP bolt or something?
You can reuse the bolt for the balancer.

I’m gonna try to get everything removed this weekend. I’m waiting on the front mail seal anmd seal removal tool and since I’m removing the crank pulley I ordered 93 cobra pullies just because.

Your Fox looks amazing. I don’t think I would have ever expected those new edge wheels to look so good on a Fox.
Maybe it’s because I’m on my phone but the color looks more like a pink shade than red. What color paint (or wrap?) is on the car? If it’s any shade of pink, you gotta put the cheese graters back on immediately.

I’ve always loved the new edge GT wheels on foxes. I think the lines flow well with the body lines. However I’m starting to think they looks small and might jump up to 18’s eventually. Got a lot of stuff I need to do first before thinking about that.
Thanks for cover rec but I ended up going with CarAutoCover someone else recommended and it fits great and is doing its job.
I’m so dumb. I questioned if I needed a balancer install tool cause I thought I didn’t have one, just a puller. I bought a puller and installer kit.
I don’t think it’s just me but 18’s kinda make these cars look like roller skates. Not terrible but just out of place. I’m sure there are some 18’s that would look good I just have this thing with wheel well opening size vs wheel size, kind of a ratio thing. They look great on the SN95 and S197 cars but just not a fan of them on the Foxes.

I’ll probably keep these wheels anyways. I do really like the way they look. I think I just need to raise the rear end a little bit, maybe it sitting too low is throwing my view off, like they are sitting too close to the fender or something. My pic of my previous fox in my Welcome Wagon post #1 is what I’m going for.
