Well, I mistakinly found out I'm getting a Lakewood scattershield for Christmas and was wondering what all I will need to do to make it work. Will I need the extended clutch fork? Will the stock dust shield go over it? I have BBK longtubes, will those be a problem? What about the locating kit, will I need that as well? I kinda wish I was getting the McLeod but oh well. Also, I noticed Anderson sells the extended fork for (I think, can't remember) around $80 or $90 bucks, anyone know where they're cheaper? The Lakewood fork in Jeg's is $130, screw that!

Shouldn't need the extended fork for the Lakewood. I still use the stocker and it works fine. I used to run 13/4" BBK longtubes with it and it did fit pretty decent except for the flange at the starter. Had to grind about 1/4" off. Now if you have a Moroso pan, then you're in for a treat.
