Just wondering if there are any downsides to replacing the stock MAF with a 76mm ProM unit without retuning the air/fuel? The other mods to the car are ported E7's, a TFS street heat intake, and a 70mm throttle body.
As long as the MAF meter is properly installed, and properly calibrated for your ecu and injector size, then you should be just fine without a custom J3 chip.
Sometimes idle problems come up, which can only be improved so much with out getting into the ecu...
But, in theory, your setup should be fine...
