Im taking the fox to the track tonite for the first time. I got my Nitto drags on this week so I dont think traction should be an issue. So does anyone have any last minute advise for me as far as launching or anything else? I could use all the help I can get. I will also be running my cousin at the track you just put the stage 1 kit on his SRT-4, id like to think im goona hand him his ass, we will see.

Good Luck brother but a Stage 1 SRT4 is pretty quick... with your Nittos I think it'll be neck and neck

Pee in his gas tank before race

EDIT- you're cammed and geared- didn't see that... dust him!!!

Better advice due to 85ragtop showing everyone up...

If you wait til 11:30 to eat they usually discount all the Burgers and fries and corndogs to half price

Damn I wish I could go today, gotta work, Im probably going to go wednesday though!

For the nittos, ive never used dr's but id heat them up alittle, like a 5 second burnout, I think they suggest like 15psi in them? Im not sure what a good tire pressure to run is on dr's, rev her up to 4k and drop the clutch. See what happens. If you dont get traction slip it alittle more next run. Stage 1 srt4's are nothing you should take him. Remember reaction time dosent affect your time so if he gets down there before you look at the slip! and like said before on the last yellow light GO!

OSW has some damn good hotdogs!

Nittos dont hook very well at the track. Pretty much feel like street tires for some reason... Good luck.

yea i heard nittos arent the best. No expierence with them, so we'll see how he does. With good driving he should be able to cut 1.9 60's, thatll net him mid-high13's

I had them on my Cobra and even with the IRS I was able to dead hook with the Nitto's. I know this is a different car so Im sure it wont be the same.
