LCAs and Torque boxes...

As some of you kno, im running the infamous Southside LCAs. before i brought the car on the street with these tho, i installed UMI reinforcements. i finally found a friend who will wled in the upper plate for me. now my quesiotn is, should i jsut have him weld up the Torque box? if so, where? also, how can i tell if i have torqu box damage? check the mounting hole for the LCAs? and if there is any (slight) damage how can i fix it? if there is serious damage im just going to go to a shop.

Definenlty have the plates welded for the uppers.

To check for damage, look for tears in the sheet metal in the inside of the car. When you are looking at the lowers, you will be able to see visible tears or broken welds where damamge has occured. Once you get under there and see where the LCA attaches to the body you will see what needs to be welded up.
