I figure i'll ask this question in here because it takes like months to get a response in V6 tech. I guess thats what I get for getting a v6:rolleyes: Anyway, I am thinking about my next mod and looking for opinions. Should I go with LCA's or Dual Exhaust? Another question is - is the UCA difficult to install and is it necessary to compliment the LCA's? I know the power isn't much for a V6 so that makes me favor duals but then again LCA's can help with handling....I can't make up my mind!

Unless you are having problems with wheelhop, then don't bother with LCA's. Start with the other suspension parts like shocks, struts, springs. If you are looking for power, then go with the custom tune and CAI mentioned by NastyStang. Rear gears would probably help with acceleration as well. I don't know what kind of power you would get from an exhaust, with GT's you dont get anything unless you change the X or H pipe or install long tubes. You could probably find a take-off GT suspension for very little money if your budget is tight.

I already have a tuner with an intake, an aluminum driveshaft (I didn't trust the stock one heard to many stories) and a single flowmaster axle-back. i am also thinking about gears but i already put a T-lok in don't feel like opening up the rear end again until i need work or a fluid flush back there. I don't think duals do much for a V6 as well but I think i might like to look. I'm not making a lot of power out of a V6 so i also think that maybe LCA's are useless. I don't know if LCA's help handling at all maybe that would be a benefit as far as traction, my 07 is better than my 67

go w/ the exhaust. there's no need for the LCA if you dont have traction issues. if anything the exhaust will make it sound better. to me that's important, whether your going WOT or just getting some groceries, the exhaust sound is always there and when it's a good sound you'll turn off your radio just to enjoy it. the exhaust is my favorite mod.

Right now I have the single flowmaster but I'm thinking of going with the Pypes True Duals with X-Pipe and getting the muffler delete and getting a pair of GT mufflers from Newtakeoff.com
