I recently replaced 6/8 fuel injectors about 2 months ago (they were used injectors) and now the ones I replaced are leaking on the upper portion connecting to the fuel rail same as before now the leaks are from the last 6 injectors and these are the ones I replaced. I also get a fuel smell whenever it marks a 1/4 tank of fuel used from when the tank marks 3/4 full to when I fill up at 1/4 tank of fuel.

I plan on replacing the fuel rails as this is the only item that has not been replaced. But I was reading on the part synopsis that it requires some modifications what does this entail and @ what difficulty level would this accomplished.

The fuel rail is from Steeda for 169.00 and this is only the pair of fuel rails and I believe of Aeromotive has a kit for 440.00 all that is required is to assemble and install. I also plan to replace the injectors in about 2 months. So my stang is parked until this is resolved because I fear a engine fire or something.

Thanks for any help.

As part of your replacement procedure, did you lube the o-rings with anything?

Are you positive you got all the old o-rings out of the rails when you did the swap? What is FP at?

I replaced all the old o-rings with new ones from the dealer and I lubed them with a little bit of petroleum jelly. As to what the fuel pressure is I have no idea.
