I purchased my 2011 GT off the lot (wasn't ordered), and it unfortunately came with the license plate bracket already mounted.

Has anyone found a decent way to mask the holes drilled through the bumper? I've been considering replacing the entire bumper, but would rather save the $200-300 if possible.

Something similar to the circular 'plugs' you see on the rear bumpers of some Volvos and Cadis seem like they might work if you could get them completely flush and a little smaller.

Is your car black? You can find some plugs and such in the specialty fasteners section at Lowes i have been told. Do an internet search for bumper plugs or something like that. there's a bunch of stuff out there.

Found some similar fasteners at an Autozone, hopefully one of the two will work. Both already glossy black, so ideally no paint will be needed.

For anyone in the same situation, the 'Dorman/15 pcs. Nissan and Toyota panel trim retainer' clips (those on the left in the pic above) worked fantastically and can be had at Autozone for about $2/15. They fit snugly in the holes drilled for the standard license bracket and sit flush on the car - you'll never notice them unless you're trying to.
