Life sucks!!!! MUST READ (PICS)

Well, I spent most of yesterday working on my car and things were going great. We put cobra headlights on, finally got my painted mirrors back and best of all, installed h&r supersport springs. Look at the pictures, it is a slide show of events that took place yesterday.

i think everything is going to turn out alright though. There is no perminant damage and I am going to get a cobra bumper which will look better with my hood, foglight kit, and new paint. I may get saleen side skirts also, but I don't know if that is exactly what i want.

i have to go to the bodyshop right now, so bye.


p.s. THE 4x4 LOOK IS GONE!!!!

Ouch...

Is the hood bent up at all or just paint damage?

The bumper is going to be 325 in paint work alone. Then you need a new fender plus paint, plus paint work done on the hood. You'll be lucky to get out in under 1000 dollars worth of damage.

First of all it's good you are ok. It does not seem to be that bad from the pics and you came out not as bad as I've seen others who hit deer.
Look on the bright side if you are full coverage you can have the cobra front put on and everything painted fresh red to match your nice mirrors. It might take a little time but at least you are not totaled. Sorry to hear it man.

damn man that sucks. Sorry to hear about it. The only animal I have hit in my car has been a squirrel... The outcome for the animal turned out the same, but my car received no damage.

the air bags didn't deploy. It is getting quoted on friday, but i think it is going to be way ore than 1000. i just noticed 10 min ago that there are a bunch of stress cracks in the hood and paint, so either i am getting a new hood or it is getting repared and painted. either way, it will be better than it was. also, the fender got pushed backa bit and chipped a tiny bit of paint off of the drivers side door, therefore the door if getting painted also. The shop noticed that one, not me.


it will turn out allright though.


if i have to get a new hood, what should i do??? get the same thing, something different????

Those springs really made a difference in the way the car looks. Sorry to hear about that. Hope you get it all fixed soon. As far as the hood goes, if you like the way the car looks, why not get the same one?
