Lifespan in LA

Hi, I'm looking at two Mustang convertibles for purchase from private sellers.

One is a 1998 with 106,000 miles. The other is a 1999 with 84,000 miles. Assuming I take it to a mechanic and the mechanic finds no problems, and that I do the routine oil changes, how many years are likely to be left on each?

Get the 1999. PI heads and 260 FWHP.

Honestly I'd keep looking, So Cal is a big area, with many gems to find at a steal. with many less miles.

I would say at least another 100,000-120,000 miles of relatively trouble-free life left.
