Actually found my own answer on the diablo website. it should be good to 825hp.
i found this aluminum maf housing on rpmoutlet. i need to transfer the sensor over. i really warped my stock plastic housing by tightening the hose clamps too tight. anybody know if that will really mess with my tune if i swap the maf sensor over from a 90mm to a 95mm housing?
IDK, my Lightning MAF was pegged at 5000rpm and I have under 450rwhp. I could of put a band aid on it but decided to do it right and bought a Sniper Bazooka MAF. Billet aluminum and its 95mm I think. Its a beast and was pretty inexpensive, I think it was under $300 View attachment 276596
Talking to Justin at VMPtuning.com i found out that since all my intercooler piping is 3" then going to a 90mm MAF housing, thats bad. It causes a lot of tuning issues and turbulent air, esp since then it goes into a 2.75" vortech discharge tube. He makes a 3" blow thru tube with the new PMAS HPX meter that has a built in IAT sensor and is supposed to work great. So thats what i'm going to go with.

I bought an 05+ style maf from VMP tuning along with a flange to mount the sensor directly in the piping. Also bought a diablo MAFia to convert the old connector. Working great so far.
Put down 550 at the wheels and no problems with the MAF
I have that exact combo right now. The MAF flang in the 3" pipe. 450whp was about all you would have gotten out of it. I just ordered the HPX sensor from Justin and will be putting it on my car next week for a retune with my new D1SC.

I'm running the SCT BA-5000. It's the 05+ style. Not running the actual 05 meter.
Supposedly this meter should be good for 800+ (with the diablo MAFia). We'll see. I should be hitting close to that in a few weeks when i get back on the dyno.
