1979-1986 Fox Body Mustang: 5.0 Resto Window Run Channel Trim - Overview & Install

Replace your 1979-1986 Fox Body Mustang window run channel trim with these factory-style replacements from 5.0 Resto. This trim surrounds the window frame of your door and is needed to properly locate the run channel weatherstrip. Typically, these are mishandled during removal, which results in them becoming bent, dinged, and damaged. 5.0 Resto's trim has the correct channel that allows it to slide onto the window frame and stay securely in place. Your window run channel weatherstrip then slides next to the trim, ensuring your windows are sealed properly.

Manufactured in the factory two-piece design, this trim is a direct replacement for your original. Each aluminum section is precision-built to factory specs for a perfect fit and finish. The long, horizontal trim has the correct end cap by the mirror and the L-bracket to secure it to the vertical trim. That vertical trim has the correct indention at the bottom, allowing the door belt to overlap for a finished look. Trim black paint is applied to each trim to ensure this window run channel trim kit is the perfect restoration item for your Fox Body Mustang. This trim can also be prepped and painted using the LMR Dark Grey exterior trim paint (linked below).

2024-2025 S650 Mustang: RTR Rear Spoiler - Overview & How To Install

In this video, Landan talks about the RTR rear decklid spoiler and explains how to install one of these spoilers onto an S650 Mustang.

RTR designed the decklid spoiler using OEM CAD data to ensure a seamless fit and installation. RTR constructed the decklid spoiler from durable, injection-molded ASA plastic to withstand the test of time. To further increase durability and UV resistance, automotive-grade satin black paint has been used over top. Installation is a breeze, as the RTR decklid spoiler is a direct replacement for the spoiler, eliminating the need for complex modifications. Fully compatible with a backup camera, so you retain all of your safety features. Simply remove the decklid spoiler and install the RTR decklid spoiler to transform the appearance of your S650 Ford Mustang.

Gen 1 Coyote Cars Can Still Get Down | 2013 Mustang GT/CS Dyno - E85, Gen 3 Intake, & More

We've dyno'd quite a few S197 gen 1 Coyote cars, and every time we do, it's a subtle reminder how fun these cars are. Even being 11+ years old at the time of the video, we can still appreciate the first iteration of the Coyote engine. Afterall, this is the one that laid the groundwork for where we are today with the Coyote engine platform.

Brandon's 2013 Mustang GT/CS (California Special) is no slouch. With simple bolt-ons and E85 fuel, this car is making almost the advertised flywheel horsepower through a 6R80 transmission! In stock form, the Gen 1 cars dyno around 360-370HP (give or take as every car is different). That's 41-51 additional horsepower to the tire! Enjoy the video.

*Relative Dyno Information*
- Temperature: 83.5 degrees
- Humidity: 65.5%
- Year: 2013
- Mileage: 133,890
- 5.0L Coyote Engine
- Flywheel Rating: 420 HP | 390 TQ
- Gen 3 Intake Manifold
- JLT Series 2 CAI
- LT Headers w/ Free-flowing X-pipe (Dyno use only)
- Resonator Delete
- OEM GT500 Quad Tip Axle Back
- Custom Tune
- E85 Fuel
- 6R80 (pull was made in 4th gear which is the closest to 1:1)
- Factory Driveshaft
- 3.15 Rear Gear
- 19" SVE R355 Wheel w/ 305/35/19 Nitto NT555G2 Tire
