Edge Racing Street Edge 3000 stall converter. Ordered it on the 16th and already got it. not bad considering i live in canada.

Andre is a great guy to deal with. i'd recommend him to anyone. cant wait to install it but that wont be untill spring when the car comes out.

thanks goes out to gcomfx.com for setting up that group purchase.

i'm still waiting for my Transgo kit to arrive and i all ready have a T/A girdle. the only things left on my list to buy this winter is a Tranny cooler, Deep Pan, 3.73's and a Dual gauge pod for a trans temp and fuel pressure gauge.

i just cant wait till summer :bang:

Awesome and you're welcome. You'll thank me again when you get it installed and get that first timeslip. :D I don't know if I could wait all winter to put it in like you. :nonono:

Andre recommended I put some fluid in the night before the install and give it time to soak in. You might check with him about doing that during storage too.

lol, ya tires are going to be on my list eventually but i'll wait till i get some aftermarket 17's. the 245's on my stock waffles are ok for now.

I just got my transgo in the mail today, just have to go pick it up.

I'll ask Andre about that the next time i talk to him.

hopefully there's still going to be a track next year that i can make some passes with the converter. theres talk that there closing it down

Congrats man! I cant wait to get one!!

Quick question:

My brother just put his truck in the shop to repair his rear end and he asked the guy working there about installing converters. The guy told him he wouldnt want to install it unless he could open the tranny and inspect all the bands ect. Has anyone ever heard this before? Is that just the guy trying to make more money outta the deal?

How many miles do you have on it?

If you have the tranny out, might as well have him look at the bands if it's not going to cost too much.

A local tranny guy I found replaced all my clutche, bands, pressure solenoid, and misc. parts for $450

ya, the postal service is cheaper because i live in canada.

here's a pick of the transgo kit i picked up today.

my brother is going to be ordering a converter from edge for his car, so i'm going to order a tranny cooler at the same time.

is spring here yet???? lol
