Looking for a good running 2.3

I am new to this group and need your help. I am looking for a good
running 2.3 to go in my 89 LX. I don't want to go through the trouble
and expense of swapping this car over to a 5.0, as this is just a way
for me to get back and forth to school for now and I plan on buying a
5.0 some time in the near future. Anyone who has done this swap and
has a good 2.3 just laying around or has a wrecked car with a good
motor, I would like to hear from you. This car is an 89 LX with auto,
ps, ac, and that's about all I know about it.

I am located in Lanett, AL 36863. About halfway between Montgomery, AL and Atlanta, GA on I-85 right on the AL-GA state line.
