I don't know how the same cars can run so differently. When I had a Fox with a Black Magic, that thing would creep up to 240 degrees with a stock engine.

That's good to know. That is encouraging me to not waste time on another fan. I have a 2" radiator. We put a 3" radiator on my friend's Cobra. It stays cool as hell. It was a $700 radiator though. I bought the biggest radiator available back in 2004'. It's clean inside, and it has had the same problems the whole time.

I'm already there. I have a radiator from Steeda virtually identical in dimensions to the American Muscle one. It was made by C&R and discontinued years ago. I just borescoped it 2 days ago; it's clean as a whistle inside. I also have a FlowKooler (brassworks) water pump virtually identical to the GMB. I had it all apart the other day, and washed out the condensor core. I have a few more things I want to do to the car tomorrow. I'm putting the cannister purge back on the car after 18 years, and moving the nitrous nozzle. After that I will let it sit in the yard with the AC running and see how it cools. It's still in the mid 90s here everyday.

When I did my friend's Cobra, I told him that you couldn't have a radiator that was too big. We put the massive 3" core Griffin on it. The damn radiator is $700, and they basically make one when you order it, but I swear the thermostat barely opens on that car. Half tempted to make the plunge myself.
