Looking for Air Cleaner Pictures...

I currently have a 14 inch old air cleaner assembly and I am in the market to purchase new. But should I get 14 inch or 11 inch? I will be getting a K&N assembly with a 4 inch filter. Any one with an 11 inch air assembly please post pictures.

On these early cars I always liked and ran the more period correct 14".
I now have a Centrifical S/C and am running a cone K&N which brings up a question about real world opinions of the K&Ns ability to filter as well as a paper element? I have a Air raid system on my P/S Excursion and the intake tract after 20K miles looks dirtier than before. Before you ask I do keep it keep and oiled. I hope I am not hi jacking too bad as my question is related.

Well here is a new 14" edelbrock on a mostly stock 289. Not an 11" though.

You're going to have hell trying to fit a 4" tall filter in there with any size. A drop base filter will be the only way to do it, even then, don't bet it'll fit. a 2-3" is about the max that'll work. K&N's that height are plenty as far as flow is concerned.

keep in mind that I have a 2.5 inch cowl hood and it is still really close.....so a 4 will not fit.
