Gearbanger - I may not take the heads off, and just use the gt40s that come on it. This can at least be my start for the winter. Get a good explorer engine, get it mounted up to my current trans (stock tremec t5 - will this work?), and get it running.
Redoing the bearings, and pistons rings I am iffy on doing from 1) lack of expierience (hands on), and 2) A clean well lit work area to do it in. And gettng the fresh bore and hone just isnt in my budget
