Shut car off in town and won't start. No spark

Check coil first,if it has spark then it's TFI

I got my passenger to hold on the wires. Coil and plug wires and no shocks

I swapped out the distributor and it started np. I was stuck in town with the car hoping I could find something easy that might have come apart when I first put the message up.
