I have the same problem I hear the noise loudest under the car thou I didn't do the install but I know he had trouble with the timming cause he tried turning it over by hand and something hit I don't know what he did to fix it but he said the timming was off but I do have underdrive pullies and he said they did not have timming marks on them the motor does make a popping noise from one side throu the exhaust but the ticking noise sounds like its coming from the other side where should I start?
