Lowering and jacking

Derek - true most people don't on a normal basis, but what about in an emergency situation? Or the driver that pushes it REAL hard? Or the guy that just slams some super low springs on and nothing else?
Also with the mustang's even with a 1.5" drop it starts getting close to get on most drive on lifts. How many times have people on here posted "where can I get an alignment local shops won't touch" type threads. The lower you go the harder and more expensive everything gets.
BTW original poster With my Pro's I can get some jacks under it but not all jacks. I plan on picking up a nice low profile racing type jack this winter.

I have Sportlines (2" drop), I also have a 8 Ton Craftsman Professional jack its huge and with a little manuevering I can fit under my car with no problem. If you have to drive your car onto a couple sheets of plywood to raise the vehicle before you fit the jack under it.

My craftsman 3 ton still gets under mine fine, and its down 1.5"

I meant for a flat tire, how hard would it be to jack up?

Autozone has a small scissor jack that's about 3-3/4" high that'll work for a flat - fits under my subfame connectors on a lowered car. I think it was about $25, made by Larin.

At home though, it's on pieces of wood so the stronger jack will fit underneath.
